Cannabis Week Events

This year the Global Marijuana March (GMM) festivities will be celebrated over a week-long of special events in celebration of cannabis and cannabis culture under the name “Cannabis Week”.

Cannabis Week Launch Party

Burlesque and DJ Show Featuring “ The Shameless Dames”

Saturday May 6

8th Annual Toronto Global Marijuana March 2006

Location: Queen's Park North, behind the legislature on University Avenue
Time: 11am until 8pm
Cost: FREE

Parade down Yonge St! over 10,000 ppl attended this annual festival last year. A celebration of Cannabis and Hemp culture combined with the call for politcal reform to our prohibition laws. Vendors, music and tonnes of entertainment. A beautiful day to celebrate 420 with all of Toronto and the WORLD.

Sunday May 7

CannaBUS Café Crawl 11am - 6pm

Hop on the Magic Bus and tour Toronto’s premier cannabis cafes with stops at G13, Kindred Café, The Hot Box Café, Up in Smoke Café and Clandestiny. See the variety of pot culture Toronto has to offer. Bus tour ends at the Cannabis Week “Toker Poker Tournament”

Toker Poker Tournament

Location: Latvian House
391 College Street
Time: 420pm registration – game starts 5pm.
A Texas Hold 'Em tournament played at 10 person tables with professional dealers. Players will have the chance to win prizes including: a Grand Prize Trip to Amsterdam and a 2006 GMM Glass Pipe provided by Wong Bong Glass.
